Clay Tonal Performance Sneakers

Denim Tears Works on Two Iterations of the ASICS GEL-MC PLUS

Denim Tears is the fashion label that is the recent partner to ASICS to continue growing the ASICS Collective footwear series, this time spotlighting the GEL-MC PLUS sneaker model. The brand unveils two colorway options of the silhouette with the option of either Brick or Cream.

The inspiration behind the designs celebrates the designer's childhood. With a closer look, both tonal options are detailed with clay markings to give off the visual like it is dirty as if one has played outside. It directly nods to the red clay roads that were unpaved during Emory's childhood when he grew up in Harlem, Georgia. The uppers have exposed GEL units in orange on the cream option and the second iteration has a full Brick hue.
