Footwear label ASICS introduces the new GEL-LYTE III RE sneaker model that is designed with inspiration drawn from its own archives to celebrate its heritage. The shoes are of an understated design language from the design process down to the color palette of the shoe.
There are two colorways offered, arriving in either the option of Glacier Grey and Piedmont Grey or Black with Carrier Grey. The shoes celebrate the previous eras that came before and have a split tongue detail seen on past designs. The upper is made with suede overlays for a textural look and feel complete with underlays of micro-perforations for a touch of breathability. Branding details arrive in the form of embroidery seen on the stripes on the side for a retro touch.
