Fire-Breathing Arctic Animal Ads

The GE Cafe Refrigerator Dispenses Hot Water

The GE Cafe Refrigerator ad campaign captures the products newest capabilities through a series of surreal images. In addition to dispensing ice cubes and cold water, it now can provide hot water at the push of a button. This exciting development is visualized through fire-breathing Arctic animals including a penguin, polar bear and walrus.

Conceived and executed by the BBDO ad agency branch based in Toronto, Canada, the GE Cafe Refrigerator ad campaign was art directed by Spencer Dingle with creative direction by Michael Clowater, Carlos Moreno and Peter Ignazi. The epic images, which look like they belong in a fantasy film, were created by production artist John Rodrigues of Estilo 3d and retoucher Jano Kirijian.
