The Pop-Up Geeks, a team of event planners based in Edinburgh, set up a Game of Thrones bar for the many die-hard fans of the HBO series that's based on George R. R. Martin's works.
Dubbed 'Blood and Wine,' the origin of the Game of Thrones bar is humorously summarized on The Pop-Up Geeks' website with the words, "Our Maesters have sifted through scrolls, trawled through parchments and painstakingly sampled the many wines, ales, spirits and infusions found within the pages of George R.R. Martin's epic 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series to source only the finest that the Seven Kingdoms have to offer."
The bar will be open every Wednesday and Thursday night up until the end of February 2017. The menu features items like "Myrish fire wine and Black Tar Rum cocktails," as well as mock Frey pies. In addition to enjoying the obscurely medieval menu, visitors can pose and play with the many series-themed props that decorate the interior.
