Samsung will be reminding people to wash their hands through a Galaxy Watch app. Samsung states that, "a small group of designers and developers from Samsung Research Institute-Bangalore, or SRI-B’s UX and wearable teams, worked round-the-clock over the last two weeks to come up with a solution that helps you keep healthy and safe."
The app is named Hand Wash, and it will inform users to ensure they wash their hands for a minimum of 20 seconds. Users can also customize reminders through the galaxy watch app, including a buzzer that will go off after 25 seconds of handwashing. The Hand Wash app also has the ability to track the time since the user last washed their hands.
