Functionland FxBlox presents the colorful desktop data towers that are made to offer users a secure decentralized data storage system without having to rely on a subscription. It differentiates from the classic external hard drives or expensive cloud-based storage as it keeps all of the contents on the hardware end of a secure decentralized encrypted storage network system.
It is catered towards more privacy centric storage and secure resource sharing with other users. The FxBlox is designed to be a safe space to host websites or store images, videos, music, and other files. The design is modular so that users can move the physical pieces around. It is made by industrial designer Yves Béhar’s fuseproject.
