This treehouse-inspired contraption by Worapong Manupipatpong is an experiment of multi-functionalism. He built this structure for a graduation project and it took off from there.
The goal for the installation (which has no name) is to find the separation or correlation between furniture and architecture and try to create something that hangs in limbo between the two.
His project has 2 levels with many different areas of seating or lying down while still maintaining the overall look of a building (for lack of a better term).
I think he’s appropriately established a connection between furniture and architecture for this exhibit.
