Medicom Toy has been a bit quiet lately; however, the company has broken its silence with the Fukuoka Barneys New York x Medicom Toy.
The Fukuoka Barneys New York x Medicom Toy celebrates the grand opening of the former brand's new pop-up shop in Japan. The figure is designed by interior designer Jonathan Adler and Barneys creative director Simon Doonan. As most can see, the Bearbrick figure is one of the more flashy, colorful versions most have seen from Medicom Toy. The design itself is inspired by many of Adler's prints. The contrasting colors of blue orange and purple really makes the toy shine. Additional details such as the floral patterns on the body and the hearts on the ear are welcoming editions to the visual aesthetic as well. The figures are now available in a limited quantity of 600 through the Fukuoka Barneys New York pop shop.
