Given the increasing importance technology plays in the lives of many, it only makes sense someone would invent something like the Fugu Bag in order to keep their electronics safe. Designed by graduates from the Royal College of Art and ECAL, the Fugu Bag is an inflatable backpack that can be blown up to cushion your essential gadgets.
Conceived by Peng You and Hongchao Wang, this minimalist rucksack is made from a carbon fiber fabric coated in a polyurethane plastic on both sides. Instead of having sewn seams, the sides of the bag are welded together, making them waterproof and more durable.
Created specifically to safeguard digital devices, the Fubu Bag offers a glimpse into hard-wearing accessory design we will likely turn to in the future.
