Russian designer Alexandra Istratova is one of the most vibrant, open-minded, risk-taking designers around, and her fabulously eye-catching and playful design for the packaging of Kiss fruit and vegetable puree is perhaps the best example of this.
Each tetra pack box in the range of fruit and vegetable purees is decorated with a highly vibrant and colorful protagonist. The characters are drawn on the tetra pack in such a way that when you pour the puree out, it looks as if it's spewing out of the drawn character's mouth.
The characters drawn on the package, while different, have one thing in common -- they're all pretty scary. They include a roster of skeletons, ghouls, vampires, a particularly evil-looking sheep and other unsavory characters. However, the design thinking behind the packages borders on genius, which is what we've come to expect from Istratova.
