Today marks the start of the Freeze Festival 2013 in London, where the top 10 international skiers and snowboarders will come to compete against local British talent.
To amp up the excitement before the event, 29-year-old professional skier Julian Ball was given a Sony Action Cam HDR-AS30V to capture some practices before the competition.
Despite two decades of experience under his belt and having earned titles like the World Monoski Champion and winner of the British Slopestyle, Ball expects some tough competition at Freeze 2013. However, Ball notes that: "the Sony Action Cam has been an awesome help, recording the tricks I have been practicing and watching my form back is the best way to coach yourself." It will be interesting to see how much the use of the Sony Action Cam helps Ball’s performance at Freeze 2013 this year.
