Illuminating Sculptural Playgrounds

Forest Loops by Suppose Design is a Climbable Art Installation

Forest Loops is an eye-catching sculptural playground in Hamakita, Japan by Suppose Design Office that has all the qualities of a light installation. The luminescent, family-friendly project is inspired by the ever-growing nature of a forest and aim to continue to develop ways in which visitors can interact with the structure.

Forest Loops is also a tribute to the impermanent state of trees, which Suppose's design team has described as resting between the definitions of complete and incomplete.

Designed largely as a structure for children to play on, Forest Loops turns into a better suited playground when a giant netting is placed on top of the sculpture and it can be used for easier climbing and games.
