Moticon has developed a foot therapy insole that specifically targets physio patients. Dubbed OpenGo, it's embedded with sensors that monitors their plantar pressure distribution to provide direct feedback with respect to overload prevention. Of course, OpenGo can also be used by athletes as well.
Working in two modes, the foot therapy insole can either transmits data to a mobile device in real-time or store data on an integrated flash memory. Vandrico writes, "These wireless sensor insoles are primarily used in sports science and clinical research, especially for training and rehabilitation purposes." With this in mind, consumers will appreciate the existence of such streamlined wearable technology. The foot therapy insole helps people focus from the ground up when it comes to their health.
