This Series of Illustrations Shows Food Items Leading Ordinary Lives

T-shirt designer Chow Hon Lam has come up with this hilarious series of food comics that illustrate items of food trying to lead everyday lives.

In one of the food comics, a potato gets his peel shaved off to have a fashionable mohawk and beard. In another, an egg lies in a hammock to fry in the sun. Donuts run from a hungry mouth and a piece of toast uses peanut butter as sunscreen. The imaginative little scenarios show us what our food could be doing if we weren't eating it.

These food comics are just one of Chow Hon Lam's various collections of funny, sweet and uniquely odd illustrations. The designer's Instagram page, where he displays the drawings, leads traffic back to his website, where his line of imaginatively decorated apparel is advertised.
