Constance Guisset, an industrial designer based in Paris, France, has come out with two sleek pieces of furniture: the Loop Lamp and Flamingo Desk. The first is a sleek and simple pendant light that hangs from the ceiling as though it were a swirling mass of air. Some may even see a UFO or jellyfish when gazing up at its silhouette.
The Flamingo Desk is just as simple, but with much more function built into it. Created for La Redoute, the Flamingo Desk boasts a wooden surface and folded metal details that can be used to organize any number of objects and documents. It not only comes with a drawer in the front for obvious reasons, it also has a drawer in the back to hide power bars and cables.
