Brew-Showcasing Events

Les Murray Discusses Toronto's Festival of Beer and Great Tasting Product

There's certainly no shortage of events in Canada's largest city, but Toronto's Festival of Beer is certainly a stand-alone experience. Trend Hunter recently chatted with Toronto's Festival of Beer President and Owner Les Murray about the annual event.

Murray explains how the aim behind the beer festival is to put on a great show for consumers and provide them with not just a vehicle for trying a wide variety of beers, but an opportunity to learn as well. This is partly done by featuring local chefs in addition to hosting an educational tent where the Brew Master series occurs.

He discusses how beyond showcasing a plethora of product, there is also an entertainment component and a food component at the beer festival. Moving forwards, Murray hopes to change the conversation around craft beer and let people know it's ultimately about great taste.
