Fertility-Tracking Rings

The Bloom Cervical Ring is a Fertility Device that Measures Temperature

Colorado-based company Prima-Temp introduced the Bloom cervical ring, a temperature-monitoring fertility device, at CES 2015.

Of the 11 million in the US alone trying to get pregnant, 50% use devices to help them reach their goal. The Bloom Ring relies on the logic that continuous monitoring of the body's core temperature results in a more accurate determination of the woman's optimal fertility window. The device is self-inserted into the vagina, and the temperatures are wirelessly communicated to the wearer's smartphone.

The app tracks the wearer's temperatures using data that suggests which temperatures women are most fertile. When an optimal temperature is reached, the app will alert the user so that she and her partner can get between the sheets at the right moment.
