The McDonald's Canada fast food app just got an update to help people ward off those who try and steal their order of fries. When you've got fast food in front of you, what tends to happen is that hungry people around you develop lightning-fast reflexes and somehow your meal tends to disappear quite quickly.
With the Fry Defender, diners are equipped with a mobile alarm system to prevent fries from being stolen. To use, people must place their phone facing up on the table and the camera will pick up on movements and if someone happens to get to close, a siren will begin to sound and the camera will start snapping pictures of the fry thief.
