Fashion critic Booth Moore, writing for the LA Times, gave her take on some of the top fashion trends for fall 2009.
Moore felt that while there was "luxe trashiness," the question is whether anyone will be willing to shell out the bucks for the new creations.
Some of the more popular looks included leggings, exposed bras, classical draping, knit-backed Lanvin fur stoles, the Michael Jackson look from Balmain and jade green Chanel sandals.
The most surprising was probably the exposed bra look, which Moore and others thought would never come back.
