James Mylne Creates Magazine-Ready Fashion Illustrations

Unlike any fashion photographer, James Mylne does not need his subject to walk into his studio and pose for his photo shoot-worthy fashion illustration series. With pen and paper, he can recreate any image down to the smallest details including loose strands of hair and the shininess of pearls.

He creates drawing of supermodels such as Kate Moss and film stars such as Audrey Hepburn, puts them onto a pretty pastel background for a finished portrait that looks like it came straight out of a magazine. The artist infuses each of his stylish subjects with an air of mystery and grace, giving them curvy silhouettes and haughty expressions on their perfect faces.

It is hard to believe that the James Mylne fashion illustration collection is made using a ballpoint pen.
