Leg-Less Light Fixtures

The Fantasia Lamp by Mid Can Be Propped Up on Broomsticks and More

The Fantasia Lamp is a customizable light fixture that boasts a unique tripod base. Although it can be used as is on kitchen counters, desks and other table surfaces, the Fantasia Lamp can easily be elevated using any odd object from broomsticks to carrots and more. The only stipulation is that the object must be slender enough to fit inside existing 'legs.'

Designed by MID, a design studio based in Italy, the Fantasia Lamp is inspired by the Disney animated film of the same name. Specifically, it is influenced by the scene of the multiplying broomsticks and their anthropomorphic legs. Designer Lapo Germasi writes, "The idea was to steal things from our daily life to create and animate other different objects"
