Growing breakfast and brunch destination Sunny Street Café recently announced the debut of four new pancake varieties as part of its Fancy Pancake Menu: Strawberry Shortcake, PBJ Time, Bananas Foster, and Chocolate Lava Pancakes.
After a strong H1, the new Fancy Pancake Menu is sure to spell a promising second half of the year for the growing franchise. As Mike Stasko, President of Sunny Street Café, explains, "We are early on in the roll-out stage, and that includes a menu redesign to make pancakes more prominent and really highlight the fact that they are our specialty. We’ve taken care to create recipes that are very unique."
And unique is certainly the perfect word for this new lineup. For instance, the PBJ Time pancakes features a generous pour of peanut butter sauce on top of a stack of fluffy pancakes, while the Chocolate Lava Pancakes feature a volcano of chocolate sauce coming off the top.
