Fairytale Homicides

Julia Murakami's Miniature Murderous Dioramas

These have both strong childlike and gory (especially Little Red Riding Hood) aspects which makes them really strong and eerie pieces. They are called 'Anatomy of a Fairy Tale,' and they're from Julia Murakami.

I love subversive and dark fairytale interpretations and dark and twisted dioramas too. Therefore, in my eyes, this collection of pieces are simply awesome. A little more gore would have been nice, but the existing details are amazing.

Implications - I have to admit I never thought I would see fairytale and homicides in the same sentence, but the title just seemed to perfectly sum up Julia Murakami's Miniature Murderous Dioramas! I cant wait to see more work for Murakami!
