Cheesy Cultural Centers

The Fai-Fah Prachautis Takes on a Deliciously Contemporary Appearance

The younger generation is sure to just eat the Fai-Fah Prachautis right up, due to its scrumptious design. From the outside, the building's extension resembles a five-story chunk of Swiss cheese, prominent with its bright yellow cladding and its many circular pockmarks that have, in some cases, been turned into windows.

Located in Bangkok, Thailand, the edifice is a community center for teenagers, offering them a range of extracurricular activities. With the adolescent and child visitors in mind, Spark Architects devised a very whimsical collection of interior spaces with colorful paint jobs to dress distinctive areas of the Fai-Fah Prachautis. Abstract masses have also been constructed inside, becoming unconventional rooms.
