Talented designer Taeg Nishimoto recently experimented with different types of material and layering in his series of hanging fabric lights entitled Se'Paar. The series features a variety of sized lamps made from folded fabric that replicates the aesthetic of origami. The clean use of lines and symmetrical shapes makes these hanging structures an artistic piece of decor to add to the home.
The Se'Paar lights are made using sheets of white and black Buckram fabric that are sheer enough to be layered to defuse the light source and create an ambient glow. The sheets are layered in rectangular formations adding a texturized aesthetic to the light as it hangs from the ceiling. Since the fabric is overlaid in different places, the light shines through at a variety of degrees creating a soft glow.
