Iconic Stationery Painting Ads

The Faber-Castell Artist Color Pencils Campaign is Creative

The Faber-Castell Artist Color Pencils ad campaign is as impressive as the company's past ones. Unlike Chan Hwee Chong's spiral interpretations of iconic paintings, this campaign uses the actual tool being promoted to recreate a couple of famous art works including Vincent Van Gogh’s Terrace Cafe at Night and Edvard Munch’s The Scream.

Created by Ogilvy & Mather, an ad agency based in Singapore, the Faber-Castell Artist Color Pencils ad campaign uses thousands of the medium itself to put together these masterpieces. The illustration team was made up of Dash Kadam, Inessa Loh, Loh Yi Qi, Danny Ong, Alicia Tan, Joycie Koor and Brandon Sim. Photographed by Jimmy Fok and Calibre Pictures, the ad campaign was creative directed by Troy Lim and Jon Loke.
