This romantically beautiful eyewear store interior is located in a townhouse in Belgravia (an affluent district in London, UK) and it belongs to local eyewear brand Cubbitts. The project was headed by London-based practice Child Studio and the design draws inspiration both from "the modernist aesthetic of Cubitts' frames and the history of Belgravia."
The space relies on a relatively pared-back color palette and subtly sculptural display elements to capture the attention of customers. Child Studio took advantage of the already beautiful architectural features of the structure—a 19th-century London townhouse complemented by stunning Georgian design features. Child Studio restored the original wooden floorboards, for example, generating a homey feel for the eyewear store interior. Some ornate accents also feature on the doors, some of which extend to three meters in height.
