When I first set eyes on Erwin Wurm's 'House Attacks' sculpture, I couldn't help but think of 'The Wizard of Oz.' Unless you haven't watched this must-see classic (insert appalled gasp), you would be reminded of the tornado scene and the death of the Wicked Witch of the East when looking at this installation.
I'm not sure exactly what inspired Erwin Wurm's 'House Attacks,' but I wouldn't be surprised if there was reference to Oz. Attacking Vienna's Modern Museum of Art, however, may not be as devastating as killing a Witch -- no matter how wicked she is.
