Green Garbage Bins

Envi Trash Bin Doubles up as a Planter

The Envi garbage bin concept is a reaction to the increase in waste and decline in greenery. Envi combines both and allows them to live harmoniously amongst each other.

The plant uses the biodegradable waste from the garbage to nourish and feed itself. According to the designer, Envi "uses bio-reactive substances based on photo catalysis to accelerate the degradation process of waste, remove bad smells and polluting gas."

The Envi garbage bin also shows the relationship between and human and his/her environment, depending how well the plant grows.
