Uber hip fashion retailer Oki-Ni returns with another entry in their lookbook collaboration series, this time featuring Elgar Johnson.
With camouflage creeping back on to the streets as of late, Johnson picks a great moment to emphasize a militaristic look. Highlighting styles from such labels as Alexander McQueen, Nonnative, Maison Martin Margiela, Rick Owens and Stone Island, Johnson works in striking black and white for this shoot. While the influences lean towards the first half of the 20th century, the overall feel of this lookbook is unmistakably 'now.' The selection of photos offsets the theme of military physical training with an element of playfulness.
