Technology has arrived at a place where people no longer need turn valves, levers or handles in order to initiate the flow of water into the basins of public bathrooms and homes. The Electric Water concept demonstrates how the sink setup can be greatly reduced for a more utilitarian and intuitive means of operation.
Julia Kononenko's design comprises a pair of seemingly identical dispensers that project perpendicular from a panel on the wall. With their metal finishes, they look like large pegs, and they're spaced in close enough proximity that the user can easily move his hands from one to the other. A sensor activates both nozzles, distributing soap from the right hand spout and temperature-mixed water from the left side of the KonONEnko ID Electric Water.
