Designed by Dhairya Dand and Rob Hemsley, Obake is an exciting new elastic touchscreen technology that is already fueling the creative engines of engineers and entrepreneurs all around the world.

Once produced, users are going to be able to poke, pinch stretch and mold the the screen into a number of ways. The technology is especially exciting for the design field as it will let them see their virtual creations in 3D immediately.

In order for the creation to not become overwhelming for commercial use, Obake has been designed to make use of and enhance the gestures people are already familiar with such as poking and stretching in relation to tapping and zooming.
