In a follow-up campaign for global fashion brand Edun, photographer Ryan McGinley shot another stunning video for the ‘Edun AW12’ collection, this time using birds.
Ryan McGinley is best known for his work using nude models as subjects or his recent work with nude models and animals together. McGinley has worked with Edun before for its Spring/Summer 2012 collection where he used butterflies. This time, Ryan’s work features a peregrine falcon, a barn owl, a snowy old and other birds of prey. The birds interacte with the models in a playful manner and the end result is something quite beautiful.
Models used for the shoot include Miles McMillan, Grace Bol and Zen Sevastyanova. In an interview with DazedDigital Ryan had this to say: "Birds are wild and unpredictable creatures, very beautiful, but at the same time you always have a little sense of the danger because they are so much larger and more powerful than you might think."
