YOOX — an online fashion retailer, is taking the sustainability movement into consideration when it launches its latest eco unisex clothing collection. Dubbed 'Amendment x Yoox,' the capsule boasts a total of 11 pieces — from color block hoodies and denim-inspired turtlenecks to chunky minimalist footwear and slouchy blue sweatpants. Each silhouette follows design instructions from Marissa Petteruti — a "Parsons BFA Fashion Design graduate and the winner of the 2018 Yooxygen Award."
The eco unisex collection revolves around the theme of asymmetry and deconstruction. The sustainability aspect of it is reflected in smart choices. For instance, all organic cotton and denim underwent a special, advanced laser treatment. For one, this eliminates certain chemicals. Secondly, it also "helps reduce the number of wash cycles required."
