Silverjet, a new British airline, aims to become the global market leader in eco-friendly business class 'luxury' air travel. The company, which is currently only flying from NYC to London, has joined with Sky, Honda, Barclaysand DHL, and CarbonNeutral to "ensures that every tonne of CO2 associated with their flight is matched by one tonne saved through climate friendly projects around the world."
They include in every ticket price a carbon offset fee, which is reinvested in projects like a Jamaican energy efficient project and a New Zealand wind farm among others.
