Fashion designer Dries Van Noten is celebrating the launch of his Fall/Winter 2018 collection with a new range of Ebru marble limited-edition raincoats. The celebratory range is comprised of 10 exclusive Ebru marble-patterned raincoats in a series of colorways. The captivating Ebru marble technique is often used in applying designs onto paper materials for book linings. Dries Van Noten implemented the attention-grabbing treatment to create visuals drawn from oil-based inks bleeding on a water surface, then transferred it.
To experiment with the different watercolor marble looks, the designer explored 300 designs for the capsule. The limited-edition marble raincoats will be available for purchase beginning in August, with only 10 units of each color exclusively available at Dries Van Noten store locations in Tokyo, Paris, Antwerp and select retailers worldwide.
