The Eat Your Sidewalk Cookbook hopes to reinvent the practices of eating, at least for all the city dwellers out there. It will train people to become urban foragers. As its title suggests, it will encourage people to head out to their sidewalks and cook meals using what they find there.
Conceived by the design collective Spurse, which is based in New York City, the Eat Your Sidewalk Cookbook has already reached its goal of $7,600 on Kickstarter. Now the team will be putting together this experimental and revolutionary cookbook. In it people will find recipes, stories, guest writings and tools for action as well as fold-out diagrams, a pop out codebook and a stencil to use to spread the word of the Eat Your Sidewalk Cookbook.
