Intergalatic Time Lapse Clips

The Earth Time Lapse Video is made with Space Station Photos

Time lapse photography and video compilations have shown the most beautiful places this planet has to offer, but with the earth time lapse video, you get to escape this world for the first time. Taken with photos from the International Space Station from August to October 2011, this clip will let you circle around earth experiencing the Aurora Borealis and lightning storms all around the world without ever leaving your computer chair.

While the pictures are shot by the space crews at about 350 km above the earth's surface, the earth time lapse video itself was compiled by Michael Konig, who states "All in all I tried to keep the looks of the material as original as possible, avoided adjusting the colors and the like, since in my opinion the original footage itself already has an almost surreal and aestethical visual nature."
