Skateboarding label HUF prepares to launch the fourth iteration of its signature Dyland Driver shoe on May 26th. This is also the date that would've marked model and skateboarder Dylan Rieder's 31st birthday. He was a strong influence in skate culture, recognized for his contribution to several skateboarding projects and films throughout his career.
He lost his life to leukemia in 2016 and HUF continues to honor his memory. The latest adorns the silhouette with a luxe metallic finish using full-grain leather materials throughout the uppers sitting atop a Vibram rubber outsole. Notably, the shoes are limited to only 150 pairs. Notably, a portion of the proceeds will be directed to the Rieder family. In addition to the launch, HUF is also hosting a photography show to honor Rieder's life with all proceeds going towards the City of Hope Treatment Center.
