'League of Legends' World Champions DRX Partners with Wemade

South Korean esports organization DRX has partnered with Web3 game developers Wemade to explore new markets and potential business opportunities for the team. DRX recently won the League of Legends World Championships, making them the first play-in team to achieve this. DRX fields teams in VALORANT, Warcraft 3, and Tekken 7, in addition to League of Legends. DRX's VALORANT squad is among the strongest in Asia, so it makes sense that Riot Games announced the group as a partner team for VCT Pacific.

Despite announcing their agreement, the two businesses did not provide any other information about what exactly the alliance will entail. Other business partners of DRX include companies like Shinhan Bank, Red Bull, Logitech G, and HyperX.
