Phoenix-based grocer Basha’s launched a creative doughnut contest earlier this month, allowing young participants to think up new flavors in exchange for a tasty prize offering. The brand's 'Doughnut Flavor Craze Contest' is currently open to children aged 8 to 18 and will announce its winners on May 31st.
After submitting a 100 word description of their unique flavor idea, participants are given a chance to win a slew of delicious prizes, including a $100 Basha’s gift card that gives one access to a complimentary dozen doughnut pack once a month.
Others include a runner up $75 gift card and a third place $50 gift card. With 13 finalists chosen, the contest will also each receive a $25 gift card and a dozen doughnut pack. The first prize winner of the contest will also have their creation featured in Basha's stores, where it will be available for purchase.
