do-M's Wonderland-Like Office Design is Inspired by the Four Seasons

Do-M design has transformed a Korean art administrative office once belonging to the Joseon Dynasty into a vibrant and contemporary space for visitors to experience Korean art, fashion, and culture. The project is titled Lisa Collection and invites visitors into a historically significant and vivacious space.

The design was inspired by the wonderland of each season and produced an evocative and sensorial space. The walls of the office are covered with terrazzo tiles, vibrant paints, and colored mirrors. The furniture is finished with a glossy utherane paint and powder that further reinforces a wonderland-like aesthetic.

Each season informs certain elements of the design. For example, the emerald bubbles present the summer. While orange structures signify autumn. Visitors are welcomed to use their smartphones to capture the space and enjoy the bright imagery in a different context.
