Dwango is a craze from Tokyo (where else) who is about to start marketing ring tones only dogs. The name of this service is a bit of a mouthful, called “Inu ni shika kikoenai chakushinon†(ringtones only dogs can hear). They will be offered as a free downloads.
I have no idea why this is a good idea! it would make a great PR stunt but there is not a single bit of joking in the description.
I can simply imagine all that would happen: my phone would ring, the dog would steal the phone to the gardern, and I would miss everyone who tried to call me.
