Women As Clothes Racks

Details Magazine Features Disturbing, Sexist Ads

Advertising research has indicated that a high degree of sexism toward women occurs in magazine and television advertising.

Has Details Magazine joined the ranks of publications that treat women as garbage in their advertisements?

In these sexist and offensive ads, Details uses women as the kind of prop you would see at an upscale clothing store. Their thinking must be along the lines of, "Why use racks, shelves or store windows when we can use these naked babes on all four as coffee tables to display men accessories?"

This in one of the worst cases of sexism and female objectification I have ever seen.
