Clean Circle Beauty debuted a first-of-its-kind dissolvable undereye mask that will disintegrate completely if tossed in the trash or break down in hot water. The Lights On Dissolvable Undereye Mask features niacinamide and 3-O-ethyl-l-ascorbic acid, a derivative of vitamin C that's efficient and stable in formulas, all the while being gentle enough for sensitive skin.
To successfully develop the first-of-its-kind product, Clean Circle partnered with a biotechnology food company. Additionally, the company incorporated ingredients that it was already familiar with. As founder Lena Chao told CosmeticsDesign, "We've already worked with the konjac root before, but I felt we hadn't shown its full benefits."
The product completely eliminates single-packaged eye masks and speaks to consumers who want to invest in sustainable self-care solutions.
