Disco is back! At least, it is in the mind of designer Hushi Mortezaie for Trash and Luxury. Trash and Luxury’s Spring and Summer 2009 collection is full of designs influenced by the glorious excess of the 1970s.
Studio 54-inspired fashion was outrageous, bold and fun, and it had everything to do with making your own fashion statement. Disco was a time of African prints, glam, flashiness, and above everything, excess! It was about "Stayin’ Alive!"
