American design studio Aranda\Lasch was tasked to create an interior facade for the Dior store location found right outside of Doha. It is in the Place Vendôme mall in Lusail, and the facade stands an impressive 72 feet tall and features a main entrance adorned with window displays as a celebration of the house's garments.
The studio explains the project, stating that it was "Inspired by how the brand's designers, starting with Monsieur Dior, use pleating to turn something soft into something geometric, we strove to transform the softness, movement, and luminous qualities of fabric into architectural materials. Like the pleats in a Dior dress swaying with the movement of the body, the facade tries to capture a fleeting moment with an architecture of unexpected lightness."
