TED speaker Dr. Kate Stone is introducing an invention at CES 2019 in the form of a first-of-its-kind digitally enabled paper toy called The Creative Touch Studio.
The educational, screen-free paper toy for kids between the ages of two to seven is an immersive toy that integrates tangible PlayShapes, sounds and voice control features. Young kids will find themselves engaged in the toy's Discovery mode, which helps kids learn about animals through sounds and puzzle pieces. The toy's Choose Your Own Adventure appeals to kids in the next age bracket with fun facts and a narrator. For kids ages seven and up, The Creative Touch Studio also offers a Create Your Own World that can be paired with an app for a custom gameplay experience and enhanced challenges.
