Art collective TeamLab created an interactive digital pond featured at 'Odaiba Minna no YUME-TAIRIKU 2016 -A World of Wonders.' The artists wanted their pond to work off of the movement of people within it. In order for the fish to move and change, humans literally need to become a part of the art. It's not just imaginary lights and images, the art installation itself is made of water.
The wondrous and mystical digital pond has an incredibly long title that summarizes what the art installation is about; 'Drawing on the Water Surface Created by Dance of Koi and People - Infinity.' Though human interaction used to be considered an obstruction of art, TeamLab attempts to change that in this piece by making people a necessary part of their art.
