In an effort to help connect more than 500 college and university campuses in Bangladesh, this digital literacy campaign is hitting the open road. Google Bus Bangladesh just commenced a year-long trip by bringing together students from 35 different locations.
In total, the digital literacy campaign hopes to help 500,000 students learn about the power of the Internet by going on a 12 month road trip. The initiative aims to educate participants not just on the web's utility, but to help them plan and collaborate. The ultimate goal is to empower the next generation in the world's 8th most populated country and equip them with the tools needed to become successful entrepreneurs.
The students involved in the program will receive access to tutors and connected Android devices.
